Calvin Johnson

Mr. Johnson was born and raised in Brockton, MA. He received his bachelor’s degree from La Salle University where he worked with young people across Philadelphia. After graduating, he joined Teach for America and taught elementary math in Mississippi. Calvin loved leading a classroom and, motivated by his students’ stories and experiences, he decided to study education law at Boston College Law School. After graduating from BC Law, he journeyed to Phoenix as Director of Operations. Now, as Springfield’s Director of Operations, Data, and Assessment, he pushes his colleagues to design systems that enhance student experiences, and use data to inform policy.
